Creative Directors Tom Notte and Bart Vandebosch, for Les Hommes Spring Summer 2019 collection, imagined a trip in the western lands, absorbing native aesthetics and spiritual influences. Abstracted tribal references are remixed for a real contemporary urban look, infused of sportswear touches and pervaded of an effortless and relaxed feeling.
The distinctive Les Hommes tailoring is updated. Monochromy and monumentality are conjugated into unbended colourful expressions. Matching jackets and pants in a shiny nylon and techno wool blend, come in a snakeskin pattern in olive. The look is eased up by the loose jersey tank. A sartorial suit in bright silk, has an impactful abstract Navajo jacquard motif, carefully placed to emphasize the shoulders and waist line. The silhouette of a black twill tuxedo jacket, is elongated by the leather fringes appearing from beneath.
Contrasting elements clash and merge perfectly: oversize tops are worn with narrow pants, dressy outerwear matches track pants and bold sneakers.
Raw denim is a staple of the Les Hommes SS19 collection for jackets and extra-large palazzo pants, elevated by graphic Navajo embroideries or made unique by shiny metal elements singularly stitched, for a couture outcome.
The luxury street look is completed by black screen sunglasses, necklaces and rings with metal feathers and leather fringes.
